Mississippi 2025 Free & Low-Cost Flu Shot Guide
For the 2025 flu season, the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) and its partners are offering free or low-cost flu shots to residents across the state. This guide provides a list of walk-in clinics, community events, and other locations where you can get vaccinated.
How to Find a Clinic Near You
The best way to find a flu shot is by contacting your local county health department or using the national vaccine finder. Most public clinics are available on a walk-in basis.
Free Shots at County Health Departments
All MSDH county health departments offer free flu shots to residents who are uninsured or whose insurance does not cover vaccines. You can call the statewide hotline at 855-767-0710 to find your nearest location or book an appointment.
2025 Community & Hospital Flu Clinics
Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto (Southaven)
Details: A free drive-thru flu shot event will be held on Thursday, October 9, while supplies last.
Hattiesburg Clinic
Location: 415 S. 28th Ave, Hattiesburg
Schedule: Walk-in flu shots available Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
OCH Regional Medical Center (Starkville)
Location: Community Room at the hospital.
Schedule: Free community flu shot event on Saturday, October 20, from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM.
Good Samaritan Health Services (Tupelo)
Location: 420 Magazine St, Tupelo
Schedule: Clinic on Wednesday, October 8, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Walk-ins and appointments welcome.
MSU Longest Student Health Center (Starkville)
Location: Mississippi State University Campus
Schedule: Walk-in clinics for students and staff every Wednesday in October and November, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
